Rocket Robot!
When I saw the scrapped concept art from Ratchet & Clank, I was immediately drawn towards this robot!

The 3D model is entirely built on Autodesk Maya. As this was the first time I modelled based on a sketch, it was an entirely new experience interpreting what the textures were and how to make it look impressive in all perspectives.

The entire model was built in 2 days (with some breaks in between) using polygons, deformers, divisions and bevelling.

The background render was done with Arnold and Photoshop.

Have you ever listened to a song and get so much ideas and imagination based on it?
That's what happened to me! (The song was Monsta X - MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!)

When listening to the song, I was imagining myself to be driving home alone (thus the dark scene).
The setting I went for was a futuristic themed tunnel and the self-building bridge paths the way back home. However, the car goes through an accident as it falls off the bridge.

Fun fact: The last part was an improvisation as I lost half of my asset due to "Delete All History" messing up with my constraints. But hey, I learnt a lesson to increment and save ever since!
