About Me
Kai is a passionate artist and programmer based in Singapore.
Before his career as an artist, Kai practiced technical skills such as 3D printing, programming robots and competing in competitions like World Robots Games. With his knowledge in modelling robots and programming in Arduino, he conducted Robotics workshops overseas for students in Indonesia and Japan.
Kai's involvement in the entertainment industry started in the age of 10, where acted in Mediacorp series, such as "You Can Be An Angel Too" and "Tiger Mom". He has then been active through his involvement in VR with the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) VR project to educate kids. His strength in animating also brought him to be Team Finalist for N.E.Mation! 2022.
Previous to his work at SFX Corp, Kai was an Experiential Designer and was responsible in motion capturing and animating. His work as part of his team was showcased in the local news and made history as the world's first outdoor AR experience, enabled by 5G.
Kai earned a Diploma from Nanyang Polytechnic in Animation & Visual Effects, and is pursuing a Bachelor of Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation from DigiPen Instate of Technology.
